SIGNS OF AGING
The way we take care of our skin greatly affects how we age.
You can start to notice a change in your skin as early as 30 years old with the appearance of fine lines and possible tales of sun damage.
We are all going to age (hopefully) so why not embrace this change and do our best to look our most vibrant?
Live a healthy life, eat well, always wear sunblock, don’t smoke, exercise regularly, and for Pete’s sake, show your skin some love!
Getting into a routine of caring and protecting your skin ensures you your best glowing complexion at whatever age you are.
SUN DAMAGE EFFECTS ON YOUR SKIN
Sun damage, also known as melasma is evidenced by brown spots (oxidative stress) on your skin, and is commonly found on your cheeks, upper lip and forehead.
The skin is constantly renewing and pushing dead skin cells to the surface, including cells that contain melanin. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), found in our Vitamin C Serum, helps dissipate the brown (melanin) spots beneath the skin before they appear. Vitamin C Serum, is also known to help lessen skin discolorations and even out skin tone.
If your skin type allows, a natural grain exfoliant is also beneficial to expedite the removal of dead skin cells.
Your first defence against sun damage is of course to always wear a sunblock.
